Idea #4: Avocado Toast with Sumac and Sage
Here’s what you do:
Start with good-quality bread of your choice. Toast 2 slices, then brush them with olive oil.
Meanwhile, halve an avocado. Remove the pit, then scoop half of the flesh onto each slice of toast. Use a fork to gently mash the avocado over the bread, then add a splash of lemon juice and a drizzle of olive oil over the avocado. Sprinkle with Sumac and Sage Seasoning and add any other toppings you like.
More options:
Top the toasts with scallions and/or thinly sliced red onions, plus any fresh herbs of your choice.
Add a sprinkle of Aleppo pepper or hot paprika for a little zing
Top with a fried egg
